Many children interact with AI without realising it. Recommendation engines decide which videos appear next. AI-generated answers respond instantly to questions. Games and apps adapt in real time to keep users engaged.
For young users, this can feel helpful and intuitive. But it also means children may place a high level of trust in content that has not been designed with their age, context, or emotional development in mind.
